Recapture
Recapture is a contract between the buyer and the seller, by which the seller of the asset has the right to repurchase a portion of sold assets, if agreed. Recapture is limited for only a certain period of time, which is specified in the contract.
For example, if the seller of shares in not sure about the market price a share would achieve in near future, he can make a deal with the buyer to repurchase a portion of the shares sold.
The seller in the recapture agreement is not obligated to repurchase any of assets sold if he does not want to.
