Return on Capital Employed - ROCE

Return on Capital Employed is a ratio that measures efficiency of invested capital by one company.
Return on Capital Employed is calculated as: EBIT / (Total Assets - Liabilities)

In relation to the rate at which a company borrows capital, ROCE should always be higher, in order to retain shareholders earnings while borrowing more capital at the same time.
