Serial Bond
Serial bond is actually a set of bonds issued at the same time but with progressive maturity dates over a period of years until all of the bonds have matured. These bonds are used to finance projects that provide regular and predictable level of earnings, and are quoted by their yield.
Serial bonds are also called installment bonds.
