Specialist Unit
Specialist unit is a stock exchange specialist, which acts as both principal and agent for other brokers.
Specialist unit is authorized by the exchange in order to maintain stable market in one or more stocks.
Condition that must be met in order for someone to become a specialist unit is to be able to buy at least 5000 common and 1000 convertible preferred stocks of a company he handles.
