Statistical Arbitrage

Statistical Arbitrage is an attempt to make profit from price inefficiencies between securities. This attempt is identified trough mathematical modeling procedure, and the whole idea comes from the probability that prices will trend toward a historical guideline.
This is not a riskless technique, it depends on the ability of market prices to move toward historical value.
