Unsponsored ADR is an American Depositary Receipt that is issued by a broker, dealer or depositary bank, without cooperation with foreign company whose stocks underlies the ADR.
Because of lack of involvement of corporation whose stocks underlies the ADR, holders of these securities will not receive voting rights and other shareholder benefits.
