Vertical Acquisition
Vertical acquisition is a type of merger where acquiring company and the target are in the same industry.
These two entities do not produce same product, but provide different parts or services for one particular finished product.
Example of vertical acquisition is when computer hardware manufacturer buys a company that produces computer monitors.
