World Trade Organization-WTO
World trade organization is an international organization whose main goal is to help exporters, importers and producers of goods and services to conduct their businesses and improve the welfare of the people in the member countries. World trade organization suppressed General Agreements on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) in January 1, 1995.
World trade organization constitutes multilateral trading system and is responsible for implementing new and adhering current rules of trade between world’s trading nations on global level. The WTO mission is to: administer trade agreements, settle trade disputes, review national trade policies, act as a forum for trade negotiations, provide training programs and technical assistance to developing countries in trade policy issues and cooperate with other international organizations.
