Blue Sheets
Blue Sheets are questionnaires requested by the SEC that are sent to market makers.
These forms must contain detailed information (name of the security, date traded, transaction size, price etc.) about the trades performed by market makers, investing firms and their clients.
Blue sheets got their name because of the blue paper they were printed on. These days, Blue Sheets are provided through electronic system.
