Certificate Of Participation – COP
COP is a financing method where investor purchases a share of the lease revenues rather than the bond secured by those revenues.
Only agencies issuing or guaranteeing COPs are Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Sallie Mae.
