Conversion Price

Conversion price is the price per share at which convertible securities (preferred shares or corporate bonds for example) can be converted into common stocks.
Conversion price is always determined when particular convertible security is issued, and is written in the prospectus or bond indenture. Usually, conversion price is set above the current price of common stocks.
