Dollar-Cost Averaging – DCA

Also called Constant Dollar Plan, it is a method of investing, including continuous buying in fixed dollar amount, regardless of the current price of a security. When the prices are low more shares are bought, and if prices are high fewer shares are bought.
This method is developed in order to reduce risk of negative price volatility.
