Efficiency Ratio

Efficiency ratio is a ratio used to calculate company’s efficiency, or, how much money did company spend to make profit.

It is calculated as: expenses divided by income. A lower percentage of Efficiency Ratio means that company made less expenses to generate same revenue, or, equivalently, made same amount of expenses by generating more revenue.
