Escrowed To Maturity

It is condition of holding the funds at an escrow account in order to secure repaying on coupon repayments and a principal of a bond.
Those funds are held at a side and usually invested in low-risk short term debt securities to protect funds from inflation and secure repaying at the debt maturity.
