Euronext is a borderless European stock exchange, created in 2000. by Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels stock exchanges, which merged into one. Today, Euronext includes the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) and the Portuguese stock exchange, Bolsa de Valores de Lisboa e Porto (BVLP), which made it fifth-largest stock exchange in the world.
The most popular index is Euronext 100, which is a blue chip index consisting of 100 largest stocks on Euronext.
Besides equity operations, Euronext provides information and clearing services and is a derivative market.
