Exchange-Traded Option, or Listed Option is an option authorized for trading on an exchange. These options have stated expiration dates and exercise prices.

There are two styles of Exchange-Traded Options, American style and European style.
While American style listed option can be exercised any time before expiration date, European style listed option can be exercised only in predetermined period before expiration date.
