Flipping
Flipping is a type of investing strategies, and implicit two types of investing.
In one case, flipping is real estate investing. It refers to buying a real estates and reselling them for profit. Positive price difference is generated either by capital improvements and renovation, or by appreciations on the housing market.
On the other hand, flipping is buying of initial public offerings at the offering price and reselling them as soon market trading has started. This type of flipping is usually done by institutional investors, because they get most of the IPO shares.
