Foreclosure

Foreclosure refers to disability of the owner of the property to make payments, either principal or interest. The lender in this situation can put the mortgaged property to public auction in order to collect his claims.
Also, the lender can adjust the contract giving the owner another chance to keep his ownership. This is known as “forbearance.”
