Fourier Analysis
Named after French mathematician Joseph Fourier, a mathematical analysis which identifies cycles and patterns within a time series data which must be normalized or de-trended first.
By detrending the data, we can observe the price cycles of some product over a long time period. By removing, for example, the inflation impacts on the product during that period, we can get a much clearer picture on the price cycles of a product,
