Going Private
Going Private is a process of repurchasing all of company’s outstanding stocks held by investors. Reasons for going private differ among companies, but let’s say that the most common reason are costs of being publicly listed and complying with the SEC.
The company will usually offer premium prices for the stock in the hands of investors, 10% is a common minimum, and must handle large amounts of money.
