Government Bond
A debt obligation sold by the government and back up by country taxing power. Because of taxing power of the issuer, these bonds are not like to default .
All other governments, individuals and organizations who hold government bonds are considered creditors.
Relative to possibility of default, Government Bond generally pays lower rate than corporate bond.
