Investment Pyramid
Investment Pyramid is a concept that a portfolio should be based on great number of low-risk investments, some regular risk investments and small number of high-risk investments.
This type of investment portfolio would remind of pyramid shape. The bottom of the pyramid will usually contain low-risk government securities and bonds, mid-portion will be composed of stocks, and the top of the pyramid will contain futures and options, as highly risky investments.
