Modern Portfolio Theory is an investment strategy which implies creation of optimal portfolio, related with risk and return calculation.
A point is that an investor create such a portfolio, from which he will gain maximum returns for a given level of risk.
Modern Portfolio Theory is also called “portfolio management theory.”
