Mosaic Theory is a financial analysis of any company. It is called a Mosaic because analyst gathers information from different sources, like public, non-public and non-material sources.
Mosaic theory is sometimes considered to exploit inside information of a company being analyzed, but it has been approved by the CFA Institute as a legitimate process of gathering information.
