NYSE
NYSE is a short for New York Stock Exchange; the largest stock exchange in the United States, which is operated by its board of directors, and is located on the Wall Street, Manhattan, New York.
A group of brokers founds NYSE in 1972, by signing a contract for trading securities.
Today, NYSE is responsible for listing securities, supervising activities, overseeing seats transfer and setting policy.
Unlike most stock exchanges these days, NYSE still uses trading floor for its outcry trading system.
