Portfolio Turnover

Portfolio turnover is a measure of the trading activity in a portfolio of investments - that is, how often securities are bought and sold by the portfolio.
Portfolio turnover is equal to the lesser of purchases or sales, for a year, divided by average total assets during the year, and expressed as a percentage.
