Record High
Record High represents the highest historical price level that a security, commodity or index has reached during trading. Record highs are considered a significant identifier in a company future performance, because investors always watch closely to find companies that perform extraordinary well, hoping that the growth rate will remain the same.
Record highs and lows counts from the first day of trade, and are updated with every new high or low achieved. They are announced in nominal value, without inflation being accounted.
